WAIANAE, Hawaii One man was barricaded in an apartment at Waimaha Sunflower, an affordable housing complex on 85 965 Mill St. in Waianae. Honolulu Police Department’s SWAT team was on site with a negotiator. They say the suspect had one firearm. on Saturday night on Farrington Hwy. Police say the driver fled down Waianae Valley Road, firing several rounds at multiple police vehicles. Sunday. Sunday.He has been taken into police custody and will be booked for auto theft, attempted murder, fled scene, and firearms offenses.Mill Street between Waianae Valley Road and Plantation Road was blocked off for police cars, but police say this is a residential area and traffic is not heavily affected.
